Mission Statement

PeaceLine was created in mid 2007 by two emcees in an attempt to create a clothing line specifically geared towards hip hop heads and peace supporters. However, as PeaceLine grew, our mission grew as well. Today, we're not just out to make creative, inspiring clothes for people who have a passion for art, originality and life, but we are also working towards changing the world in every step that we take. We (Keith and Michael) have always been major supporters of peace, compassion, and an equal quality of life for everyone on earth; and now, we plan to use this passion to help guide PeaceLine into the future.

As PeaceLine has grown, it has branched out from clothing to encompass specific non-profit organizations (and the financial support of those organizations), the support of good, mostly independently produced music and art, and most of all the support of a culture. We here at PeaceLine understand the culture in which we cater to, this is because we, just as you, are a part of this culture and want to see it grow and thrive. This is why in all of our endeavors, both personal and business; we hope to support and inspire a peaceful progression through life. If we can inspire others to get up and act on the changes that they talk about or want to see in the world/their communities, then the world as a whole would begin to take a turn in the right direction. To quote John Lennon, "There's nothing you can do that can't be done."

Charities

Kosair Children's Hospital, located in Louisville, Ky, is one of the leading pediatric hospitals in the region, as well as the country. I (Keith) am knowledgable of Kosair's care and dedication first hand; I have sickle cell anemia and consequently, grew up going in and out of the hospital. I have experienced the help that Kosair provides as well as the care that they give and the difference that they make in children's lives, many of whom are much less fortunate than I. Growing up in and out of the hospital, I have learned to truly be appreciative of the life I live and the opportunities I am given, and so, that's why through this opportunity to create my own clothing line, I want to give back to not only the hospital where I spent a good portion of my childhood, but more importantly to help the children and the families that are currently visiting Kosair more than anyone should. Kosair Charities is the largest organization geared towards helping Kosair afford new technologies and helping families afford the medical treatment that their children require. Please know that with every PeaceLine purchase you make, no matter how small, online or in a store, we will donate 5% to Kosair Charities.
